The new Partner, in its light van and compact MPV (Tepee) versions has just been awarded two Trophies by a jury made up of motoring journalists and business users, brought together under the aegis of France's L’Argus de l’automobile weekly motoring magazine.
In its light van version, the Partner was voted Utility Vehicle of the Year as it leads the field in five out of the jury's seven judging criteria:
- Practicality
- Design and technical innovation
- Active and passive safety
- Ergonomics and onboard wellbeing
- Quality-equipment / price ratio
This Trophy rewards Peugeot's investments in the areas of Light Utility Vehicle and services to business users. The new Partner offers a variety of load volumes from 3.3 m3to 4.1 m3, and its launch represents the final step in the complete renewal and broadening of Peugeot's Light Utility Vehicle range.
This offer is currently the most up-to-date and broadest in the Marque's history and now comprises five models: Bipper, Partner Origin, New Partner, Expert and Boxer, offering load volumes between 2.5 m3 and 17 m3 and load carrying capacities of up to 2 tonnes.
In addition, the new Partner Tepee has been awarded the Trophy of Estate Car of the Year, and has thus enabled the Partner to be a two-time winner.
This compact MPV with its distinct styling and original versatility has been rewarded for its excellent all-round performance/cost of ownership ratio. This concept takes account of the purchase price, running costs per kilometre, residual value after 36 months and 60 000 km and fuel consumption.
